It’s more than keeping the lights on and the gears turning; it’s about giving out of love and gratitude for what God has done for us in and through Jesus Christ.  Your gifts are an investment in the present and the future of our Ministry in Shelby and the surrounding communities, that more people would hear the good news and be transformed by it!

Why We Give

God’s Word calls us to give.  Your gifts and offerings are vital to the health of United Lutheran Church and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach we want to do.  What you give should be decided between you and God.  The important thing is to give from a worshipful heart.

Prayerfully consider:

 

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
